Welcome to our St. Mary’s College of Maryland clubs and student organizations. Below, you’ll find all of the wonderful groups to get involved in on campus! As you look through these clubs, you’ll note a “Commitment Level” rating from 1-5 based on how involved the club expects their members to be. Club sports can be found on the club sports page. If you’re not seeing anything you’re interested in, all full-time SMCM students are allowed to create new clubs by working with an SGA senator to craft a constitution and solicit membership.

Alianza is a Latin American club that includes all backgrounds. We love to promote diversity on campus for everyone to feel welcome. The main goal for Alianza is to provide a safe space for those students who identify as Latinx or Hispanic. Not only that but to also educate those around us of our culture. There is so much to learn from everyone from different areas of Central and South America. We will work on different projects together to help our community as well as teaching each other about each of our cultural habits and customs.

APAC Club is a cultural and social club that provides a place for anyone and everyone to come learn about and explore Asian Pacific-Islander American culture. APAC hosts large and small scale events on campus, from Holi, to Lunar New Year, to Diwali.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, interdenominational community seeking to learn more about Jesus and show His love to the St. Mary’s campus. They also host weekly Large Group gatherings for a time of fellowship, worship, and learning as well as social events. Whether you’ve grown up in church or want to explore faith and learn more about Jesus – you are welcome!

Relay for Life raises awareness and money for the American Cancer Society. The funds raised go towards cancer research and travel expenses for both patients and their caregivers. It is a comfortable place for students to learn more about any pre-health school and how to get there while also having a good time with peers on similar paths. Anyone can join!

Our main goal is to be a pathway for feminists at St. Mary's College of Maryland to engage in consciousness raising, advocacy and education, as well as be a way for feminists on campus to connect to each other.

he St. Mary's Dance Club is a performance based club focused on encouraging dancers and fostering a love for dance performance! At the end of each semester Dance Club holds a performance showcase on campus, showing off student choreographed and student performed dances. The club accepts members of all experience levels, and no prior experience is needed! Dancers will meet with choreographers once a week for an hour (or more than once a week, if they are in more than one dance) to prepare for the end of semester showcase.

The purpose of this club is to provide a space for students to freely express and explore their gender and gender presentation safely and constructively, while also strengthening community ties and being a living part of queer history. They will learn the different styles and skills of drag, including but not limited to makeup, wig and hair, costuming, acting, dance, and comedy. These goals will be accomplished through providing the experience and emotional support in order to design and create their own routines that will be showcased at semesterised performances.

InterChorus is the only all-gender a capella group at St.Mary's. We meet twice a week to rehearse, learn new music, and have fun. TNA is the no-boys allowed, student-run acapella group at St. Mary's College of Maryland. TNA has one major concert per semester but performs at various events throughout the semester. Zero Degrees prospective members may have an interest in dancing, want to choreograph, and/or enjoy listening to Korean pop music (or Asian pop music in general, including J-pop, C-pop, V-pop, and more). The purpose of this club is to provide a safe and welcoming community where we meet people of similar preferences and promote awareness that music has no language barrier. We strive to provide a close-knit community with open communication about our past experiences, how to become a performer, and what we all want to get out of this memorable experience.
